WHEN YOU LOOK IN THE MIRROR, FAILURE STARES YOU IN THE FACE

by Mr. Mean-Spirited

Your life didn’t work out the way you wanted.  Your dreams didn’t happen the way you imagined.  All your ambition ever did was to let you down.  Did you really expect to end up like … like this?

If you remember yourself as a kid and recollect what you envisioned for yourself at this age, you would have to be honest and admit that you are a complete failure.  Think back to what you wanted for yourself and look at yourself now: what a loser.  You are a fucking disappointment to those around you – but, most of all, you are a disappointment to yourself.

Frankly, people expected better of you.   All those years of education were squandered on somebody that never had an original thought in his life.  All those fine meals went to create that repellent slob you see in the mirror.  Dredge-up an image of that repulsive creature you fucked the other night – did you ever expect to be fornicating with something that looked like that?

Don’t even say it.  No, you sure as hell aren’t going to change your ways now.  It is too late to start over.   It is too late for you to live your dreams at this point in your life.  You are simply too old to accomplish anything in the few years you have left.  Just face it, you wasted your whole life.

I know what you are thinking.  Settling for something different doesn’t make me an inferior person, does it?  Compromising on something smaller doesn’t make me less of a person, does it?   It sure as shit does.  You once had a coherent view of your life – and you fucked it up.  All the more reason you are a total loser.

And so what if you have a growing child that you never expected?  Now you are just a failure with an additional mouth to fill.  Breeding is just something else that you should regret having done.  Doctors bury their mistakes, and losers put diapers on their mishaps.  If your life were one of those tests back in grade-school, you would get a failing grade on your existence.

If you had any courage, if you had any genuine moral worth, if you had any guts, the first thing you would do is admit what a worthless piece of shit you truly are.

  1. Thank you for giving me the dose of reality and awakening me from the delusional thinking. It is really amazing how humans, myself included, can delude themselves into justify all kind of nonsense. I really wish I could come with a good objection to what you said. My consolation is that this nightmare will be over in few years or decades.

    1. My suspicion is that the cosmos is not indifferent toward humanity – but creation is actively hostile toward human beings. I do not believe that this "nightmare" is ever going to end – one way or another, existence is only going to get worse … for all eternity.

    2. I often wonder that nature is just too perverse to be entirely natural.

    1. What stops me from killing myself? The only thing that keeps me going is sheer hatred, utter loathing for my enemies. Nothing is more enjoyable than watching adversaries suffer because of some bad decisions that they, themselves, made. And I want to see a little more misery before I die.

    2. Im intrigued. Can you reveal a little about these enemies you hate?

    3. I possess an entire spiral-bound notebook listing people I have come to hate, but let me give you an example. Had this overly-loud, overly-friendly, overly-inquisitive neighbor. A real go-getter that really got on my nerves. He was living with a buzz-cut bitch that was just as irritating and infuriating – and, low and behold, he eventually proposed to the whore. Naturally, the romance did not last long (although it sure got noisy) – and she soon divorced him, asking for half of the marital assets. By that impulsive act of matrimony, he destroyed his own life more drastically and more dramatically than any act of revenge that I could have planned.

Maybe that she is humble and kind and from a poor country helps there. could not get any hot bitches here on home soil to go for my low status low achieving ass. thankyou internet. you give so much.

    6. The question of an exit strategy is going to have a different answer for every reader. My own father died of complications from Alzheimer’s disease (as did my paternal aunt), so I need to make arrangements for this probability. (In my own case, this involves a "consume by" date that is derived from the time when my father was first diagnosed minus a safeguard of a few years: Alzheimer’s was identified at age 75, so if I subtract a safety zone of 5 years – I am left with an upper limit of 70 years. Can’t argue with the numbers.) I have always been an individualist, so I believe every thinking man needs to do his own personal calculations.

    7. Very logical, Mr. Mean. I have my own trip lines which would take more than one post to elaborate on. Btw, my father also has some form of dementia, probably Alzheimer's. It killed his father. I was only 11 when he died, but I remember it was a very ugly death.

  5. this existence is evil, there is no doubt about that and your theory of a continuance of this evil is as good as any.....mms do you have any higher beliefs about our existence here on this planet? give us some sagely wisdom u pessimistic fuck b4 its all over

    1. Sometimes I think that we were put on this planet to be tortured. When I was younger (and when I was still foolish enough to imagine that foreign travel was a worthwhile thing), I wandered into the crowd at a dog fight in rural Honduras. Most of the peasants went to the spectacle to gamble and to escape the boredom of their useless lives, but one fat fuck was getting seriously aroused (and, I mean, sexually excited) by watching the pointless cruelty. In much the same way, I fear that some supernatural entity brought humanity into existence merely to get off on our eternal torment.

    2. Mr. Mean, you almost sound like a Cathar, albeit one who doesn't believe in a higher, "good" God who will eventually make straight and sound the evil of the demiurge who created this material world of suffering and evil. You have heard of the Cathars?

      Delete
    3. It may be that the "supernatural entity" who brought you here was your parents. Did you ever them why would they did it?

    4. I liked what I read about the Cathars – until I learned about their dualistic theology. While I (obviously, observably) have no problem accepting the notion of an Evil God, I just can’t waste any credence on the idea of a Good God. A spiritual entity, any supernatural being, is a completely Wicked Creature.

    5. Did I ask my parents why they had me? Of course. Every child inquires about that. And I got the usual poppycock and gobbledygook: they didn’t have clue.

Possession by demons makes more sense.

    6. Mr.Mean-Spirited, what do you think of the Annunaki? Suppose if I told you that there were a group of extraterrestrial interdimensional alien beings from another world that created mankind as a slave race. Would you believe me if I told you that there is a spirit realm next to this physical reality and that there might be more to this life than you think. I just want to know your thoughts on one of these particular topics in general. Thanks,

    7. I often caught the old, original Art Bell radio show on long drives across the country; I stayed up all night listening to some weird discussions about Nibiru and the Anunnaki. The problem with such nocturnal theorizing is the obvious one: lack of physical evidence to substantiate such a contention. I am, however, sympathetic toward the idea that alien entities designed human beings as a slave species. But I am supportive not because of any strong belief in extraterrestrials – as much from having observed the servile and subservient nature of mankind.

  7. im going with a simulation, this fits the thesis of a higher intelligence/higher iteration of the simulation nesting arrangement getting their amusement because they are bored. better something then nothing. isolation makes for some crazy ass behaviour especially for a poor lonley deity
